In an era where smartphones and social media connect lovers instantly, they can talk anytime, anywhere. These technological advances are incredibly convenient but can sometimes lack a touch of charm... The Post Office Museum offers a nostalgic look back for Valentine's Day 2026, featuring special workshops and fun activities for true romantics.
To celebrate this day of love, a Parisian museum is hosting a special themed event on February 14th. The goal? To revive the romantic eloquence of love letters penned by our parents and grandparents! Grab your finest pen and a notebook, and let Cupid inspire you to craft a few heartfelt words that are sure to make your loved one’s heart flutter.
After a brief exploration of the museum's permanent collection focusing on Mail Art and French Valentine's Day-themed postage stamps, participants will have the chance to create their own artistic envelope or letter inspired by the theme of Love. The workshop runs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is open to both families and couples. Tickets cost between 6 and 14 euros.
From 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, come share or craft a story of a romantic or friendly encounter—the moment that marks the beginning of a new story—during a writing workshop. Whether real or fictional, your tale will come to life with guidance from Ghislaine Tabareau-Desseux, an expert in leading creative writing sessions, and support from fellow participants. The workshop fee ranges from 8 to 14 euros.
To cap off the day, the La Poste Museum invites you to indulge in an unforgettable experience: a lantern-lit guided tour through their collections at closing time. Afterwards, facing the Eiffel Tower, enjoy a glass of champagne paired with delicious macarons. This exclusive event for adults is available for 19 euros.
Don't forget to sign up for the workshops, as spots are limited. Wishing you a wonderful Valentine's Day 2026!
