For its 6th edition,"Tous en Selle!", the event dedicated to cycling on the big screen, opens the doors of the Grand Rex this Friday, November 28, 2025! Sit back, relax and enjoy the official selection of this cyclingfilm festival. Discover documentaries from all over the world dealing with sport, physical challenge and self-esteem, as well as discovery and adventure, whether in nature or in the city...
All these documentaries, lasting from 10 to 35 minutes, have cycling as their common theme, with strong values such as sharing, the environment, surpassing oneself, illness, disability and competition. After the films have been screened, the teams behind the short films will be on stage to talk about their experiences.
Pour toi Maman follows cyclist-adventurer Stéven Le Hyaric on the Transbalkan Race 2024: 1,400 km from Slovenia to Montenegro. Between steep mountains, unpredictable weather and extreme fatigue, he finds the strength to keep going, carried along by an intimate tribute to his mother. His arrival in the Bay of Kotor is as much a sporting victory as a cry for love.
Two children, two friends, remake the world with their childhood words sitting in a garden, dreaming of crazy adventures: crossing mountains, exploring the desert, flying on bicycles and taking part in fancy dress parties in endless landscapes. Thirty-five years later, their lives are settled, but the childhood dream is still there. A smile, a joke, a memory are enough to rekindle that flame. So they decide to leave everything behind for a while and make their 1990 dream come true.
Teamwork is the beauty - and the difficulty - of "the" Flèche Vélocio. In March 2024, as part of this historic event, 10 women set themselves the challenge of completing this 24-hour bicycle crossing as an all-tandem team. The aim was to cover 500 km in Dantesque weather conditions, with a single mantra in mind: we set off together, we ride together, we arrive together!
Jude, in search of meaning and freedom, embarks on a journey of initiation into the heart of Liberia's Gola forest. Far from a simple adventure, this journey is an opportunity for him to reconnect with nature. However, his ideal of freedom is brutally put to the test when his guide disappears, leaving him alone, destitute, with only two days' food to survive on. Trapped in a lush but hostile wilderness, Jude is haunted by the question: "What am I doing here?".
Sylvain Dhugues sets off on the Race Across France, one of Europe's most demanding races: 2500 kilometers, 30000 meters of ascent, in total autonomy. But behind this sporting challenge lies a more intimate story: that of an athlete, scarred by school bullying and family violence, who found in sport a way to rebuild his life. Lanterne Rouge traces a quest to surpass oneself, a journey in which the bicycle becomes the terrain for personal revenge and a universal message: to move forward in spite of everything.
