Titina is the name of the latest animated film by Kajsa Naess, but above all, the name of one of the protagonists of this beautiful story: Umberto's dog. The story takes place in 1925, just after the First World War and it is with the eyes of Titina that we discover it with this cartoon, suitable for all children.
Inspired by a true story, with this cartoon, it is a journey, an adventure for which you embark! Kajsa Naess, a Norwegian director, directs this brand new animated feature film in which we follow the story of Umberto (to whom Raphaël Personnaz lends his voice) and his dog Titina in their quest for the North Pole. For 1h30, you too will travel to the North Pole where you will discover whales, polar bears and ice floes as far as the eye can see.
Our opinion :
In April 1928, the Italian engineer Umberto Nobile takes off with Roald Amundsen, the first man to have set foot in Antarctica during a previous expedition, towards the North Pole. For the explorer, Nobile built an extraordinary airship, the Norge, with a destination of Antarctica, where no man has yet set foot on the ice. But Nobile is not alone: Titina, his adorable little dog, is also on the trip.
From one adventure to another, we discover in this family film the backstage of a historical mission and a conflicting friendship between Nobile and Amundsen, through the eyes of a little dog who has become a real icon, since Titina is the first one to have trodden the Antarctic with her paws. During 1h30, you too will embark on board the airship, in the middle of the glaciers, you will swim with the whales at the same time as Titina and you will become attached to these protagonists who have marked history. The images, the graphics and the lightness of this animated film make it accessible to the whole family, including the youngest!
