The end is nigh for the Fast and Furious family. At least, that's the image conveyed by the first trailer for Fast X, the tenth installment in the saga of cylinders as big as explosions. Released in cinemas on May 17, the film is set to take another lap around the track from September 27, 2023 with the release of DVD, Blu-Ray and Steelbook 4k Ultra HD + Blu-Ray™ editions.
For this tenth adventure, directed by Frenchman Louis Leterrier (behind the cameras of Lupin and Loin du Périph), Vin Diesel is back, of course, but virtually all the franchise's cult actors are back: Michelle Rodriguez, John Cena, Helen Mirren, Jason Statham, even Paul Walker, though he passed away in 2013, can be glimpsed in this first trailer.
Fast X and the eleventh installment, as yet untitled, will form a diptych to close the Fast and Furious saga. In any case, it's sure to be this spring's most eagerly awaited blockbuster. And while you're waiting for the film's release, you can (if you're brave enough) revisit and rediscover the franchise that began in 2001.
