At a time when digital addiction is at the heart of many debates, the film Mise au vert promises to provide a refreshing perspective on the subject. Announced for release on September 20, 2023, this film, centered on one man's desire to reconnect with his origins and offer his family an out-of-the-ordinary experience, promises to be one of the cinematic rendez-vous not to be missed.
The plot reveals the journey of Régis, who, wishing to strengthen family ties and free his children from their digital addiction, decides to surprise his family with a vacation in the Vercors. However, instead of the expected picturesque setting, they discover a dilapidated old mansion, lacking basic amenities. No water, no electricity and, above all, no network. What was supposed to be a peaceful moment quickly turns into an adventure full of twists and turns.
The approach behind Mise au vert seems clear: to offer a different, authentic perspective on family relationships in the digital age, without falling into clichés. And while we don't yet have any feedback on the actors' performances or Charrin's direction, the synopsis alone is enough to arouse curiosity.
