Every summer, the Château d'Ecouen - musée national de la Renaissance offers family-friendly evenings around the 7th art, with its open-air cinema. Discover the free films shown on Friday August 22 and Saturday August 23, 2025.

Do you know why summer is the favorite season for moviegoers? It's true that vacations give us more time to go to the movies. Yes, many studios take the opportunity to release their films. But what we really like during this time of year are the many open-air cinemas that spring up all over Paris and the Ile-de-France region!

Every summer, in museums, swimming pools, parks and gardens, on rooftop terraces and in monuments, film screenings are organized at nightfall, for a magical experience. Château d'Ecouen - musée national de la Renaissance, for example, organizes open-air screenings on its grounds during the warmer months of the year.

Animated films, action movies, comedies, cinema classics, fantasy films: the general public program should appeal to young and old alike, and leave all visitors with fond memories. By the way, did we mention it's free? The Château d'Ecouen has thought of everything to make sure we have a great summer! On August 22 and 23, 2025, the monument is inviting us to attend a film session under the stars.

Please note that while this event is free of charge, it is accessible by reservation only. So don't miss out on any of these cinema evenings.

Quasimodo dreams of living free among those he's been watching for so long. This long-awaited moment arrives on the Feast of Fools, and, disobeying Frollo, he mingles with the people who have come to celebrate the New Year.
