Plaine orientale is a French crime series created and directed by Pierre Leccia, co-written with Aurélie Teisseire. Comprising 8 52-minute episodes, this Canal+ original plunges into the world of the Corsican mafia through the intersecting destinies of an ex-convict and his magistrate half-sister. The cast includes Raphaël Acloque, Lina El Arabi and Veerle Baetens. The series premiered at the CANNESERIES festival in April 2025.

Plaine orientale follows Reda, an ex-convict of Corsican and North African origin, as he tries to find his place in a transformed criminal world. His former accomplice has become the right-hand man of Carlotti, the godfather ruling the north of the island. At the same time, Inès, her half-sister and newly-appointed magistrate at Bastia's anti-mafia unit, proposes a secret alliance to bring down Carlotti. This high-risk pact involves them in a battle against a corrupt system.
