Through this unprecedented initiative, the association aims to make the often forgotten or marginalized voices of people withAlzheimer 's disease and their caregivers heard.
Whether anonymous or public figures, these deeply moving accounts reflect the complexity, but also the richness, of life paths marked by illness.
The evening will feature poignant film extracts, highlighting intimate, heartfelt stories.
These sequences will be followed by a wide-ranging debate, moderated by Hélène Delmotte, health journalist and medico-social expert at France Alzheimer.
It will give the floor to a number of people involved on a daily basis: patients, volunteers and caregivers. Among them, the artist Alain Chamfort will share his experiences and his commitment, adding a strong personal dimension to the event.
This meeting is intended to be both a moment of awareness and humanity, where emotion will mingle with reflection, and where words will be free, kind and open.
The aim is to gain perspective on an often unspoken reality, to better understand the challenges faced by those affected, and to forge links between all those involved - families, professionals and the general public.
Admission to the evening is free, subject to availability.
A not-to-be-missed event for all those who want to take another look at Alzheimer's disease and the realities of caregiving.
