Jumanji: Welcome to Our World unveils a new French trailer. Directed by Jake Kasdan, this third installment in the trilogy relaunched in 2017 brings back Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan, alongside the young heroes introduced in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
After steering players into Jumanji’s world in the previous films, the franchise flips the script this time. Early footage shows the game spilling into the real world, with wild beasts and iconic avatars wreaking havoc. The trailer also hints that the heroes will have to return to Jumanji once more to stop the catastrophe from spiraling out of control.
This fresh installment brings back the characters portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan and Nick Jonas, while also spotlighting the young leads played by Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser'Darius Blain and Morgan Turner. Danny DeVito, Awkwafina and several familiar faces from the earlier chapters also return.
Released in 1995 with the Robin Williams-led film, the Jumanji franchise was successfully relaunched in 2017 thanks to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, then continued with Jumanji: The Next Level in 2019. This new chapter stays in the continuity of this revived saga while offering an unprecedented shift in perspective.
The film is distributed in France by Sony Pictures.
