Part 4 of Lupin has been available in full on Netflix since October 23, 2026. Four years after his arrest, Assane Diop is still in prison when a series of burglaries committed by a mysterious copycat forces him to reclaim his identity as a gentleman thief.
Assane had given up on Lupin. He wanted to serve his sentence and keep the promise he made to his son: to reunite the family in Senegal. His plans are upended when a statement signed "Lupin" surfaces, announcing simultaneous heists at several museums.
Despite stepped-up security, the burglaries unfold as planned. All the evidence points to Assane, even though he remains behind bars. A CCTV camera even appears to place him inside a museum at the moment Captain Sofia Belkacem is gravely injured.
To prove his innocence and identify the copycat using his methods, Assane must break out and once again step into the role inspired by the character created by Maurice Leblanc. This arc comprises eight episodes, released in full on October 23.
Omar Sy returns to the role of Assane Diop. Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab and Shirine Boutella reprise their roles as Claire, Benjamin Férel, Youssef Guédira and Sofia Belkacem. Théo Christine and Laïka Blanc-Francard round out the announced cast.
Created by George Kay in collaboration with François Uzan, the series is written for this portion by Mathilde Arnaud, Jean-Yves Arnaud, Tigran Rosine, and Florent Meyer. The episodes are directed by Édouard Salier, Everardo Gout, and Hugo Gélin. Omar Sy and Louis Leterrier serve as showrunners.
Produced by Gaumont with the participation of Carrousel Studios, Lupin continues to treat Paris as its playground. The first three installments are already available on Netflix.
