Drive – The Pretenders: a car romance adapted from Wattpad on Prime Video

To earn her place behind the wheel, a mechanic agrees to pretend to be the fiancée of a driver whose reputation threatens his career. That arrangement sits at the heart of Drive – The Pretenders, a German romance slated for Prime Video on October 28, 2026.

Sarah Jenkins, played by Lisa-Marie Koroll, is seizing every chance to become a pilot. Dante Annunziata, portrayed by Amin Baahmed, needs to polish his image after a string of scandals. Their fake engagement is meant to advance both of them—until their closeness starts to blur the boundaries of the agreement. The film blends a publicly staged romance with a professional stake: for Sarah, the arrangement could also open the door to the cockpit.
