Shaun the Sheep: The Halloween Monster brings Shaun, Bitzer and the Mossy Bottom flock back for another stop-motion adventure. Directed by Steve Cox and Matthew Walker, the animated feature from Aardman Studios is set to hit cinemas in France on 21 October 2026.
As Halloween approaches, the farm's residents gear up for celebrations around their pumpkin patch. The Farmer, however, accidentally destroys the harvest. To fix the damage, Shaun becomes a mad scientist and launches into an experiment whose consequences quickly spin out of control.
The Farmer disappears and a mysterious beast starts prowling the nearby woods. Shaun and his crew must figure out what happened while making sure chaos doesn’t take hold of Mossy Bottom for good. The new trailer expands on this setup, weaving in an improvised lab, a shaggy creature, and a splash of Halloween decorations.
Written by Mark Burton and Giles Pilbrow, The Halloween Beast is the third feature-length Shaun adventure, following Shaun the Sheep Movie and Shaun the Sheep: Farmageddon. The original voices of Justin Fletcher, John Sparkes and Kate Harbour return to bring this new tale to life.
The film keeps Aardman’s signature stop-motion animation, the studio behind Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run. Its story draws on Halloween and creature-feature tropes, crafted for a family audience and slated for release at the start of the October half-term holidays.
