Les Yvelines Ciné 2026: 75 free outdoor cinema screenings in the 78 — the program

Published by Audrey de Sortiraparis, Julie de Sortiraparis · Updated on July 2, 2026 at 08:05 p.m.
The big screen hits the road again in the Yvelines. From July 13 to August 29, 2026, Yvelines Ciné stops at 75 venues across the department, with free screenings at dusk. An opportunity to catch a movie under the stars, from village to village.

Action, light… and the great outdoors. For its 15th edition, Yvelines Ciné resurges for the summer season from July 13 to August 29, 2026. The formula stays the same: free screenings, open to all, projected at dusk in 75 venues spread across the four corners of the department.

With this traveling cinema festival, the Yvelines (78) are taking the big screen far beyond the traditional venues. Villages, parks, squares, and priority neighborhoods: cinema comes right to the doorstep of residents, in settings that change from one commune to another. On the program, a broad, family-friendly lineup mixing animated films, comedies, adventures, science fiction and classics capable of bringing several generations together on the same lawn.

Here there are no numbered rows or shared armrests. Audiences settle into the department-colored loungers as night falls and the screening gets underway. In some towns, the opening credits are even preceded by animations, picnics, or food trucks, a little extra to extend the enjoyment before the projector lights up.

With Yvelines Ciné, cinema steps out of the theaters and into the night under the stars!
