After a boutique at Les 4 Temps in La Défense in 2010, now closed, Build A Bear is back in France! Created in 1997 by American Maxine Clark, the Build A Bear workshop is famous the world over. Today, the iconic concept returns to the capital with the iconic New York toy store F.A.O SCHWARZ, and sets up its plush toys on the 5th floor of Galeries Lafayette Haussmann.
Much more than just picking a teddy bear off a shelf, Build a Bear invites you to create a unique companion from A to Z! Start by selecting your "empty" teddy bear from a range of adorable little animals: bear, dog, rabbit, frog, unicorn, dinosaur... Then move on to the stuffing stage with a magic machine, assisted by an expert salesperson who will sew your new best friend.
But wait, there's more! Now that your teddy bear is plump, it's time to dress him up. The workshop's dressing room is full of wacky, trendy looks, with a wide selection of clothes, shoes and wacky accessories such as cell phones and funky glasses.
And to top it all off, we'll give you an official birth certificate in your plushie's name, to immortalize this special moment.
