Shizen summer 2025: the XXL Japanese summer village with market, workshops and concerts at Cité Fertile

Follow the fragrance of sake and onigiri to the heart of Japan in Pantin (93)! Shizen returns for its 6th edition on the weekend of September 20-21, 2025 at Cité Fertile. This year, the event reinvents itself as a Japanese Summer Village! Bye-bye gloves and steaming winter market teas, hello sunny matsuri that smells of late summer and autumn equinox.

This XXL Japanese market welcomes over 80 exhibitors to immerse you in the richness of Japanese culture. On the program: fine ceramics, traditional sashiko, unique illustrations, fashion, minimalist design, delicatessen and toasting with sake. As for flavors, get your chopsticks ready for steaming ramen, generous donburi, soft onigiri, golden okonomiyaki... A non-stop tour of Japan, Pantin-Tokyo.

But Shizen is also a cultural and artistic eco-escape. For two days, the Cité Fertile is transformed into a dreamlike, festive setting with concerts, DJ sets, performances, round-table discussions, workshops (for a fee) and even a kids' corner for mini-nipponophiles. And to keep the party going, don't miss the party on Saturday September 20 from 5pm to 1.30am, orchestrated by the L'Amicale de la Bamboche collective.
