Ahead of the gavel, an exhibition takes the stage. From 13 to 18 October 2026, visitors will be able to explore the pieces up for sale in the department store’s spaces. At the helm of this curated selection is Pénélope Blanckaert, a fashion expert and curator who has worked with auction houses for nearly twenty years. Comme des Garçons, Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake... the leading names in Japanese fashion gather here at the front row, offering bold silhouettes, daring constructions, and pieces that have become highly coveted.
Then, on Sunday, October 18, 2026, eyes will leave the hangers to follow the bids. Estimates, bidding wars, adjudications: this autumn Le Bon Marché is getting in on the auction-house action!
