World Tattoo Convention 2026 in Paris: Here's What You Can Expect for the Grand Finale

The World Tattoo Convention is gearing up to say goodbye. The event dedicated to tattoo enthusiasts is announcing its final edition, set to take place in Paris on Friday, January 30, Saturday, January 31, and Sunday, February 1, 2026. This last hurrah of the Parisian tattoo gathering, organized by the legendary Tin-tin, will be held at La Grande Halle de La Villette. Artists, live music, competitions, judges, exhibitions—all the elements you've come to love will be part of this unforgettable farewell!

Tattoo enthusiasts may want to grab a tissue. The renowned tattoo convention in Paris, organized by the well-known Tin-tin, is set to bid farewell in its final edition in the 19th arrondissement of the city. The famous World Tattoo Championship, an international tattoo expo in Paris, is preparing to close its curtains at the Grande Halle de La Villette on Friday, January 30 to Sunday, February 1, 2026.

The show shared the news in a message posted on its website and social networks."With 35,000 visitors in 2015, we counted around 15,000 admissions to the Mondial du Tatouage 2025. The most beautiful convention in the world for many is also the most expensive. And the overflow of new tattoo conventions will have exhausted the audience of the old ones. This is surely the end of a great era for the tattoo microcosm," explained the organizers. "Encouraged by the tattoo community to keep this event alive, we have nevertheless decided to organize a final edition on January 30, 31 and February 1 2026..." they added.

For this final edition, the show dedicated to the art of tattooing promises a fine program in prospect, starting with the arrival of hundreds of tattoo artists- some 550 in all. It's an opportunity to admire some of the world's greatest tattoo masters at work for the very last time, and to discover the works engraved on the skin by numerous national and international artists. For this final edition, the public will be able to see Australian Alessio Vanzan, Quebecer Alex Dupuis, Japanese artists Horininja and Ichibay, Greek Benjamin Laukis, Dane Chris Henriksen, as well as Amy Mymouse, Greg Laraigné, Laura Satana, Maud Dardeau, Moanatoa, Mumia and Oscar Tttst, Otto d'Ambra, Thierry Manao and Thomas Vincent.

In past editions, the Mondial du tatouage has also delighted visitors—whether they were simply curious or future tattoo enthusiasts—with concerts, tattoo competitions, exhibitions, food trucks, and a bustling tattoo market! In 2026, highlights include concerts featuring Ten56. and Napalm Death. Attendees can also enjoy exclusive exhibitions by Jondix and Xavier Durand, not to mention the Tattoo Market. The event also features the traditional competitions, culminating on Sunday with categories like Best Full Body, Audience Choice, and the highly anticipated Best of Show.
