DÉPART, the new arts festival at Paris's Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports

This new festival gives you the chance to visit Paris airports and feel like you're on vacation, thanks to an artistic program, imagined with Le Centquatre, in the heart of Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports! From July 14 to August 19, 2023, Paris Aéroport is offering unexpected experiences all summer long, thanks to never-before-seen creations and amazing artists, whether you're coming for the occasion or one of the 15 million passengers expected.

All the better to endure the wait, the delay before the big departure, and to offer you some lovely poetic memories before you take off! On the program: voguing, roller dance, a capella singing, circus, amplified music and other disciplines to discover in an unusual environment. You'll be able to discover the original creation, Air Move, by choreographer Olivier
Dubois, inspired by the gestures of travellers and the imaginary world of the airport, as well as a musical performance by the collective Playtronica.

The airport is an astonishing place and time-space, where different languages and cultures come together, in the midst of diverse and varied feelings and emotions, between the fear of taking off, the wait, the joy of meeting loved ones or the sadness of leaving them. This festival is a tribute to this inspiring place, with the participation of traveler-spectators. You can also take advantage of the opportunity to discover the summer's exhibitions at airports just outside the capital, including"Hommage à la Fondation Maeght", focusing on the history of 20th-century art,"Le nuancier de Versailles", which immerses passengers in the gardens and château, and"Voyage au MAC VAL", offering a tour of the contemporary museum!
