The Salon Minéralogique, to admire minerals, fossils, gems and jewelry at the Dojo de Paris

For a few days, theInstitut National du Judo, in Paris's 14th arrondissement, will be dedicated not to sport, but to minerals, at an International Mineralogy Show. From March 8 to 10, 2024, you'll be able to admire minerals, fossils, gems and jewels, whether old or new, rough, rolled or cut! Numerous professionals will be on hand, including paleontologists who will tell you the story of extinct species, through fossils!

But for lovers of gemstones, fine jewelry and lithotherapy, this is an ideal show, since between emeralds, sapphires, rubies and tourmalines, you'll be able to buy gems from all over the world, in any shape you like. It's a chance to discover all the facets of the mineral world, to observe ancient pieces and even meteorites, as well as jewelers' creations!

Thanks to a photomicrography workshop, you'll be able to see the inside of gems with your own eyes, with a technique that involves capturing the infinitely small using a microscope coupled to a photographic box, for a journey inside gems and their secrets!
