The Georges Carpentier free open-air swimming pool in Paris returns this summer 2023

Did you know that the city of Paris offers several free outdoor swimming pools during the summer? Obviously, these are great ways to get out and about without breaking the bank. In fact, it's not just the famous Bassins de la Villette that everyone knows about, there are also a number of free swimming spots open to all in and around Paris.

Let's head for the 13th arrondissement, to the Centre sportif Georges Carpentier at 81 boulevard Masséna, to discover the free pool open to us from July 8 to August 20, 2023. The pool is just a few steps from the Porte d'Ivry and Porte de Choisy metro stations .

This summer pool is open to us every day from 10am to 8pm on weekdays and from 10am to 6pm on Sundays and public holidays. There are also free sports activities open to all without registration, includingaquagym.

Please note that children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. So, why not take advantage of a free outdoor pool this summer?
