Play by Alexander Ekman at Opera Garnier in Paris

Swedish choreographer Alexander Ekman is back with a new show, the ballet Play, performed for the Holidays at Paris Opera.

All-rounder (theaters, museums, operas, videos, etc.) and several times awarded, international and Sweden-born, Alexander Ekman worked for the first time with the dancers from the Paris Opera Ballet. The result is to be enjoyed from December 4 to 31, 2017 at the very beautiful Palais Garnier in the French capital.

With Play, the choreographer takes us, as always, in an original and off the wall universe. For this modern ballet, many dancers and musicians will be on the stage of Paris Opera, in the middle of metal structures allowing to suspend artists in the air and to blow us away…

I enjoy creating worlds we’ve never seen before”, Alexander Ekman says, and so far, it’s working!
