Following the triumph of its first edition, the HOPE Gala makes its grand return on February 6, 2024 at the prestigious Casino de Paris, with comedian and actor Jérôme Commandeur hosting the evening. An exceptional evening that brings together the eminences of Dance, stars and choreographers, in support of the Association Institut de Myologie, brought to life by a breathtaking teaser directed by Cédric Klapisch.
Created in 1996 by the AFM-Téléthon, the Institut de Myologie aims to help and cure people suffering from myopathies and other neuromuscular diseases. On stage, the Gala will feature Paris Opera virtuosos Léonore Baulac and Mathieu Ganio performing "The Man I Love" from "Who Cares" by the illustrious George Balanchine. International star Marie-Agnès Gillot will shine in a unique solo designed especially for her by choreographer Laura Arend.
Singer and artist Jeanne Balibar will embark on a major dance premiere, with a solo specially choreographed by Charlotte Ranson.
Hip-hop choreographers and dancers Marion Motin and Johana Faye will each be performing their own creations. Alice Renavand, Étoile de l'Opéra de Paris, will honor us with a solo of her own choice, and Damien Jalet, a choreographer of multiple universes (notably responsible for staging several of pop queen Madonna's touring tableaux) will offer us a rare projection of one of his emblematic works. Finally, dancers from L.A.C Company close the evening with an energetic finale from Laura Arend's "LEON".
