The queer-improv cabaret queer Panic at the Queer Show is heading back to Paris for one final date! After several stops at the Boom Boom Villette, at the Speechless Bar and at Chez Olympe, the participatory show imagined by LRY Story Paris wraps up its second season with a grand finale titled "The Ultimate Battle," to be staged on July 22, 2026 on the floating stage of La Nouvelle Seine, facing Notre-Dame.
Here, you can’t predict what’s coming next. Nothing is scripted, nothing is repeated. The show unfolds live, driven by the audience’s ideas—choosing the themes, the styles, the constraints, and even the music the performers must respond to. This principle lies at the heart of Panic at the Queer Show, where improvisation becomes a true playground for the whole cast.
For this final night of the season, Panic at the Queer Show brings together a lineup of the personalities who defined the previous editions. At the helm is Patsy Magret, host, producer and master of ceremonies, charged with orchestrating a night where everything can tilt in an instant.
Around her, a lineup of artists who have passed through the Open Stages and previous editions will return for an entirely improvised face-off. Among the invited guests are notably La Briochée, Amourose, Wav, TatadesBois and Matriarking, while Someone and Sapristi join the night as guest judges.
Inspired by the era of televised elimination contests, this special edition turns the cabaret into a true competition where every challenge unfolds under the audience's gaze. The performers only learn the rules when they step on stage and must work within the constraints announced live.
Unlike a traditional show, Panic at the Queer Show puts the audience at the heart of the experience. It’s the viewers who decide which worlds to explore, which challenges to tackle, which music to weave in, and the twists that will spice up the night. They also vote throughout the performance, ultimately crowning the winner of this second season.
As Patsy Magret puts it:
"PANIC is a radical playground: the audience decides, the artists dive in, and everything can tip at any minute. What we celebrate here is the momentum, the risk and the joy of creating all together, with no Plan B whatsoever!"
Our Take on Panic at the Queer Show:
A drag performance that the Sortiraparis team had the pleasure of witnessing at Boom Boom Villette... And of course, humor and good vibes were the order of the evening, making for a wild and energetic night. Leading the show, Patsy Magret, an engaging and dynamic host, expertly kept the energy high with a lineup of challenges, lip-sync battles, and plenty of kindness.
That’s what the evening was all about: a series of hilarious lipsyncs and battles, each more outrageous than the last, featuring three contestants (a drag queen and a drag king). So you might say, it’s not about high-drama runway shows or theatrical improvisation in the strictest sense... But that’s not the point here. We’re here for the good mood, the musical improvisation exercises, and the interaction with the crowd. And don’t think the audience stayed in the background — quite the opposite. They had a hand in everything, from choosing the music to setting the challenges. Simply put, there was never a dull moment! That is, until some brave souls took to the stage for a spectacular finale.
It’s a welcoming, family-friendly night, filled with mutual respect, since everyone is invited. The comedy cabaret also featured a very special guest, La Briochée, who performed several lipsyncs (finally winning one — a revenge from her season on Drag Race France...), joined by the winner of the first round, Penny'Mean. The night continued with more challenges under the watchful eyes of Patsy Magret and Someone.
In short, we loved it — and we’re already looking forward to the next show!
Before the curtain rises, audiences can enjoy the bar and dining space opening from 6:30 PM, as well as a Mini Queer Market featuring illustrations by Gabriel Giraudet and the official merchandise imagined by Texalp Création. The show starts at 9 PM, after doors open at 8:45 PM, for nearly two hours of improvised performance, intermission included.
Heads up: tickets are limited! Anyway, this finale of Panic at the Queer Show is shaping up to be one of the summer's most intimate gatherings to discover the drag scene and queer improvisation in Paris. A participatory format where, this time, the audience won't just come to applaud: they will also write part of the show. Shall we reserve?
