Once again, France 2 rings in the New Year with a celebration! On Wednesday, December 31, 2025, the public broadcaster joins forces with the City of Paris to present “The Grand Paris New Year’s Eve Celebration,” an enchanting event taking place in the heart of Paris to cap off 2025 in style. After setting the scene in Chantilly, Versailles, and Fontainebleau, France 2 returns to the City of Lights as its backdrop for this festive soirée, just as it did in 2023 and 2024.
Starting at 9:10 p.m., France 2 will slowly amp up the excitement. Once again, Stéphane Bern will be at the helm. Alongside charming host Laury Thilleman, the renowned presenter will anchor an evening packed with performances from a lineup of top artists. To give a taste of what’s to come, notable acts include Pascal Obispo, Zaz, Magic System, Amel Bent, Soolking, Chico & Les Gypsies, along with classics like Chantal Goya and Salvatore Adamo. The night will also feature performances from artists who defined 2025, such as Marine, Miki, Claudio Capéo, Luiza & Bleu Soleil, Jeck & Carla, Jungeli & Lénie, Linh, and Nicky Doll.
“The Grand Evening of the 31st” will also spotlight several iconic musicals, including the timeless classics The Lion King, Les Misérables, as well as beloved titles like Demoiselles de Rochefort and Black Legends.
To make this evening even more magical, France Télévisions has announced performances by dancers from the Moulin Rouge and Paradis Latin, as well as artists from the Folies Gruss.
Finally, viewers of France 2 will be treated to an evening featuring several major music spectaculars paying tribute to three legendary figures of French chanson: Generation Celine, Goldman Legacy, and Balavoine Legend.
To top it all off, right after the big celebration on the 31st, France Télévisions will broadcast a stunning video-mapping show projected onto the Arc de Triomphe, accompanied by a musical composition by Ena-Eno and André Manoukian. Following the spectacle, viewers can enjoy the traditional New Year’s fireworks organized by the City of Paris.
