This summer, music lovers are inundated with festivals. From Vieilles Charrues to Lollapalooza Paris and the Nîmes Festival, the choice is endless. In the west of France, the Francofolies have been rocking the town of La Rochelle for over 40 years now. This year, the festival is once again preparing a fine 2025 vintage for festival-goers, featuring Véronique Sanson, Clara Luciani, Jean-Louis Aubert, Hoshi, Julien Doré, IAM, SDM, Kyo, Ben Mazué and Laurent Voulzy.
To close its 2025 edition in style, Les Francofolies de La Rochelle invites Lamomali, the famous Franco-Malian artists' collective created on the initiative of Matthieu Chedid, aka -M-. Bringing together the music of the Diabaté family and the sublime voice of Fatoumata Diawara, Lamomali pays tribute to Malian traditions through the use of the kora. Having already lit up the Francofolies de La Rochelle in 2017, Lamomali are back to make their mark on the musical event once again.
