Hannah Montana will blow out its 20th birthday in March 2026, and Miley Cyrus is promising a "really special" surprise to celebrate the occasion. Two decades after living the best of both worlds, the Disney icon is teasing a tribute project that could well live up to the legend.
"That's where it all started," she confides to SiriusXM. It's true that before crowded stadiums, mullet haircuts and Flowers on a loop, there was Miley Stewart's double life: average student by day, incognito pop star by night. And according to Miley,"without Hannah, none of what I am today would exist". This lays the foundations for an emotional comeback.
Since the series ended in 2011, nostalgia has never really left fans. And neither has Miley: "Whenever I go anywhere, this character evokes a childhood memory in people." The 32-year-old singer intends to celebrate this Hannahversary in style. And even if she remains mysterious about the exact content of the project, one detail lights up the spotlights: she recently reclaimed the rights to the Hannah Montana songs.
So, tour or no tour? Nothing is confirmed, as the rocker confided in 2023 that she no longer felt comfortable performing in large concerts, for health reasons. In the meantime, we'll stay tuned!
