Paris, the quintessential cultural capital, is brimming with a wide variety of entertainment options. Of course, we must mention the monthly exhibitions hosted in the city’s many museums. But Paris also warmly welcomes numerous artists every year for concerts. And for good reason—Paris is home to a vast number of performance venues. From intimate clubs to massive arenas, these concert halls and theaters delight countless fans of live music.
Among them is Paris Bercy. Just a bit of background: this legendary multifunctional venue, known for its versatility, was inaugurated on February 3, 1984, in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. Since then, the stage has hosted some of the biggest national stars (Johnny Hallyday, Dorothée, Mylène Farmer, Indochine...) as well as international icons (Madonna, Muse, Metallica, BTS, AC/DC, Scorpions, Prince, Stevie Wonder...).
In the fall of 2015, the venue underwent a transformation. Thanks to a new configuration, its capacity grew from 17,000 to 20,300 seats. This move cemented its place among the top 10 live music venues worldwide, alongside giants like Madison Square Garden in New York and London's O2 Arena.
Today, the legendary Parisian concert hall continues to host top artists from both France and abroad. Here’s a look at upcoming concerts that you shouldn’t miss within this colossal venue in the heart of the capital!
