Following Booba in 2022, Ninho in 2025, or JUL, another French rapper is lining up to fill the Stade de France. His name? PLK! Hailing from Paris, PLK now heads up several mixtapes and albums, including "Polak" and "Enna". On March 13, the rapper released his third solo album, entitled "Grand Garçon". Built around the singles "Bleu & Rouge", "Sex Model" featuring Theodora, and "Pas comme eux", the record will be performed live this autumn at the country’s biggest stadium. For the occasion, PLK will take the stage for two consecutive nights, on Friday, September 4 and Saturday, September 5, 2026.
But before vibing to the new and old tracks from PLK, the Stade de France crowd will be treated to an opening act. So, who’s the special guest? Who has been chosen to kick off the festivities and gradually heat things up? It’s Krisy, the artist himself announced on his social media on August 24.
Krisy took the opportunity to thank PLK for this generous gift. "You’ve always shown gratitude and respect for the long road we’ve traveled together. And this gesture proves, once again, how I’ll never regret following the madness of a true enthusiast. [...] Beyond the enormous opportunity that a Stade de France show represents, I’m going there mainly to celebrate the person you’ve been to me all these years. You didn’t have to. The artist is impressive. The human being is even more so," he wrote on Instagram.
A Belgian rapper, singer and sound engineer, Krisy released his debut mixtape "WeedTape" in 2010, quickly followed by two more, "Blacksouag" in 2012 and "Jouvence" in 2014. By 2016, he was dropping his first EPs. That same year, the rapper made a cameo on Damso's "High" and on PLK's "Skuu". The next year, Krisy linked up again with PLK on "Pas ce soir". And the two artists never looked back, reuniting for a new collaboration in 2018 on "Go".
Since then, Krisy has collaborated with other artists and released her debut studio album, "euphoria", in 2023, which features the album's titular single.
This year, Krisy is taking a bold new step in his career by taking the stage at the Stade de France for the very first time, as the opening act for PLK. A golden opportunity for the Belgian rapper, who intends to seize the moment to introduce his world and his voice to a wider audience!
