"All the history of painting in less than two hours" is a show by Hector Obalk, combining stand-up, music and the history of painting. Between September and October, come to the Théâtre de l'Atelier to discover this extraordinary show, which will then be presented at the Théâtre le 13e Art until January 2024.

Here, Hector Obalk presents Toute l'histoire de la peinture en moins de deux heures, an original, visually captivating, musical and humorous show.

Hector Obalk is a historian, art critic and author of the documentary series Grand'art broadcast on Arte. With his show, Toute l'histoire de la peinture en moins de deux heures (All the history of painting in less than two hours ), he offers a real initiation based on four distinct paths.

These four routes retrace the entire history of painting, from Giotto to Yves Klein and beyond, in a way that is accessible to neophytes... Hector Obalk is accompanied by musicians and a giant screen projecting details of the works of art evoked by the specialist. A complete show, visually and musically, not forgetting thehumor of this enthusiast, who promises to make the whole variety of art history fascinating.

    This as-yet undefined show will take us through Bosch (The Garden of Delights and retrospective) - Giorgione (The Country Concert) - Titian (retrospective and the desquamato period) - Caravaggio (The Incredulity of Saint Thomas) - Manet (Bar at the Folies Bergère) - concluding with a look at figurative painting today: Boisrond (retrospective).
