In January 2023, the Cité de l' Histoire will open its doors in La Défense, offering a brand new immersive museum dedicated to the history of France. A real journey into the past through life-size sets and an interactive frieze, but also a 30-minute show visible at 360 degrees, plunging us into the life of a historical figure or a specific period, between cinema and immersive show, a unique animation in the world that plays with the set elements.
After Victor Hugo's autobiography and the journey with the Musketeers, discover the poignant story of the NormandyLandings on June 6, 2024, in commemoration of the 80th anniversary! This all-new show immerses you in the action of June 6, 1944, for a quarter-hour, for an educational and emotional experience that combines archive images, sound and light projections, with the presence of actors to bring the event to life.
For the occasion, the Cité de l'Histoire is inaugurating new exhibition spaces featuring emblematic figures of the D-Day landings, the main armored vehicles of the era, LEGO models and a map room with a projection area, for fun and educational activities!
