Flemish collective tg STAN presents Que sera sera from September 10 to 21, 2025 at the Théâtre du Rond-Point, a theatrical comedy loosely based on Alfred Hitchcock's interviews with François Truffaut.

Based on the famous 1966 book Le Cinéma selon Alfred Hitchcock, Bert Haelvoet and Damiaan De Schrijver create a lively, offbeat portrait of the master of suspense. The two comedians slip into every role from film references to cult lines and amusing anecdotes, oscillating between lecture, talk-show and parody.

A cross between theater and cinema, Que sera sera plays with, hijacks, pastiche and celebrates Hitchcockian codes with total freedom. Iconic scenes revisited, explosive dialogue and deadpan humor make up this hybrid, playful and unpredictable show. This creation is in the singular vein of tg STAN, a collective renowned for its playful, erudite and non-conformist pieces, which constantly question the forms of representation.

The proposal is aimed at audiences familiar with Hitchcock's universe, as well as those curious about an atypical and joyfully iconoclastic theatrical form. On the other hand, fans of more classical theater or linear narratives may find this free, performative device unsettling.
