Hypnosis, humor and audience participation are on the program for Pascal Ducrest's new show, to be presented from August 4 to 25, 2025 at the Théâtre des Mathurins.

From August 4 to 25, 2025, the Théâtre des Mathurins welcomes Pascal Ducrest - Hypnose, a surprisingly interactive show imagined and performed by Pascal Ducrest. A renowned hypnotist, he returns with a formula combining on-stage demonstration, complicity with the audience and an unexpected promise: learn to hypnotize... in an hour. In an atmosphere that's both playful and offbeat, he shares his mastery of hypnosis, while playing on the comic aspects of this often mysterious practice.

On stage, Pascal Ducrest chooses certain spectators and puts them in a state of hypnosis before the eyes of the rest of the audience. Between laughter, surprise and fascination, he explores the reactions provoked by suggestion and letting go. But the show is more than just a demonstration: it also includes an educational component. With humor, the hypnotist offers a crash course in basic principles and key techniques, as if to turn spectators into hypnotists for a day.
