The month of October is a real feast for all art lovers. In addition to the Monument Jeu d'Enfant event, the Architecture Days, the Châteaux Night... We take advantage of the international contemporary art fair: Paris+ by Art Basel. This major annual event allows us to discover hundreds of galleries and artists from all over the world, as well as to admire exhibitions and installations free of charge.
Thanks to its off-site programming, contemporary art is dispersed and installed throughout the capital. This week-long event brings art within everyone's reach. This year, from October 17 to 22, 2023, we'll be taking advantage of a brand-new exhibition, organized in the Chapelle des Petits-Augustins at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris.
This 2023 edition features the work of British artist Jessica Warboys. The painter presents several works emblematic of her particular style and technique. These include a large collage of floating paintings, created using natural materials such as beeswax, sand and minerals...
The exhibition also features a fascinating audiovisual installation. The artist is interested in the links between humans and nature, and more specifically in the places where these two worlds meet.An ancient forest, a 17th-century convent, a golden library, rivers and seas: these places take on a mystical dimension in this artistic video .
