From July 2, the Cité des Sciences turns on the "dance" mode with its brand new immersive exhibition, Danser.

Just in time for the summer vacations, the Cité des Sciences opens its brand new exhibition for young visitors on July 2, 2024, focusing on a universal theme: dance. From flamenco to classical dance, salsa, contemporary, waltz and other traditional dances, dance is an integral part of the culture of every country and every region of the world. An art in its own right, a means of expression that tells all through gestures, dance is as unifying as it is diverse: for this original exhibition, the Cité des Sciences invites you to put your body in motion, so that you too can learn to express yourself through dance.

Designed around an unusual visitor experience, Danser invites you to put your body in motion during a collective dance moment. Using devices designed in collaboration with dancers and choreographers, you'll be the king or queen of the dancefloor! Jumping, turning, walking, meeting, landing: the exhibition is divided into five parts, with a grand finale ball on the program!

The exhibition is designed for children aged 4 to 8, but it's obviously possible to visit with the whole family: all you need to do is buy a ticket to the Cité des Sciences. So, shall we go dancing at the Cité des Sciences from July onwards?
