On the occasion of its major Louvre Couture exhibition, the Parisian museum is organizing a unique nocturne on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Fashion will be in the spotlight throughout the evening, with a variety of festive and cultural events.
In 2025, the Musée du Louvre presented its very first exhibition devoted to fashion. A hundred or so silhouettes and accessories are on display in the museum's collections: creations interact with the museum's historical works and objects, fashion and art compliment and respond to each other in a journey full of surprises. For this exhibition, the spotlight is on some of the world's most renowned fashion houses and designers: Dior, Christian Louboutin, Chanel, Rick Owens, Schiaparelli, Balenciaga, Jacquemus... A real dream for haute couture enthusiasts.

Radicals Acts of unrelenting Beauty
Three consecutive 30-minute performances, between 7pm and 9pm
At the crossroads of performance, art and fashion, American artist Jordan Roth presents the world premiere of Radical Acts of Unrelenting Beauty in the majestic setting of the Cour Marly. This performance, punctuated by three tableaux - "Red", "Wings" and "Pyramid" - explores the dynamics of identity and beauty, and their power to transform and express the self.
Jordan Roth draws his inspiration for these three spectacular performative objects from the "LOUVRE COUTURE" exhibition, bringing together the imaginary worlds of the Louvre and haute couture in a poetic collage of masterpieces from the museum's collections.

Waacking fashion show
Louvre médiéval continuously from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Model, DJ, choreographer and ambassador of the waacking scene in France, Mounia Nassangar takes over the underground passageways of the medieval Louvre for a participatory fashion show featuring excerpts from her show S.T.U.C.K. From 7pm to 9.30pm, defend your look on the runway and try your hand at cat-walking, posing and the art of the runway, with advice from exceptional coaches and to the rhythm of an underground DJ set.

Secrets, anecdotes and repentance: Olivier Gabet, curator of the exhibition, and Loïc Prigent, columnist and fashion historian, share freely and with the complicity of the public the behind-the-scenes story of an extraordinary exhibition. Between hard knocks and strokes of genius, enter the secret of months of discussions between fashion houses and the world's largest museum.

Combining elegant songwriting with a unique style, Clara Ysé was named "the desirable future of French chanson" by Thomas Jolly, editor-in-chief of Les Inrockuptibles. For this exceptional evening, she will be performing two intimate, timeless concerts at the foot of the legendary Victoire de Samothrace staircase. Clara Ysé will be accompanied by Camille El Bacha on piano and Ingrid Samitier on guitar.

Lucky Love has established himself as an artist who bridges the gap between music and elegance. After a spellbinding performance at John Galliano's memorable Collection Artisanal 2024 fashion show for Maison Margiela and a high-profile appearance for the Paris 2024 Paralympic™ Games celebrations, he'll be the guest of honor at this special evening under the Louvre Pyramid and in the company of a choir of gospel voices.

With no less than a hundred contemporary silhouettes and accessories spread over the 9,000 square meters of the Objets d'Arts department, this exhibition presents an original, historical and poetic dialogue with masterpieces from the Louvre's collections, from Byzantium to the Second Empire. A unique tour featuring a selection of remarkable loans from 45 international fashion houses, straddling the line between museum catalog raisonné and fashion moodboard. Another way of looking at art objects through the prism of contemporary designers' eyes.
