Jean-Michel Othoniel's Pont aux Boules d'Or at Domaine de Méréville unveiled

The Pont aux Boules d'Or was inaugurated this Saturday at the Domaine de Méréville. This contemporary work, designed by Jean-Michel Othoniel, is a real eye-catcher. Assembled with precision by the artist himself, the bridge combines metal, wood, gold and stainless steel beads to create a unique sensory experience.

Adorning the Juine river, the bridge is adorned with :

• Four twenty-kiloballs covered in gold leaf,
• Twenty-four pearls and twenty-four rings, also gilded,
• Three thousand stainless steel mirror pearls complete the work.
  

These elements, combined with the artistic design of Jean-Michel Othoniel, famous for his glass sculptures, make this bridge a jewel in constant evolution. Changing color with the seasons, the bridge offers a visual spectacle at every turn.
