Temperatures are starting to ease, the sun is showing its face and the days are gradually getting longer: we're gradually leaving winter behind and heading for the return of fine weather, with the arrival of spring 2024.
On Saturday, March 16, 2024, Ville-du-Bois, in the Essonne department, celebrates the return of spring with a magical evening, featuring a torchlight procession in which everyone carries their own lantern as they stroll from the town hall square in Ville-du-Bois. Following this illuminated procession, the evening continues with a musical fireworks display on the theme of the Olympic Games.
The evening is entirely free and open to all, so all you have to do is turn up in front of the Ville-du-Bois town hall at 7.15pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024. To give you a better idea of what's in store for the evening, here's an outline of the program:
