Just south of the capital, on the Issy-les-Moulineaux side, lies a pretty spot of greenery: this garden is the city's Botanical Garden, where you can come for a walk with a change of scenery, without even leaving Issy.

In addition to the Ile Saint-Germain park and the bucolic,Japanese-inspired Ichikawa garden, Issy-les-Moulineaux boasts a lovely botanical garden with a breathtaking view over the Seine valley and western Paris.

Opened to the public in 1900, the botanical garden was designed with different, distinct areas of nature. During your stroll, you'll find a pretty horticultural garden, clearly visible thanks to its clump of heather, a pretty rose garden, a vegetable garden... But also an orchard and an aquatic pond! Then, to continue your stroll aroundIssy-les-Moulineaux, we suggest you walk a little further to the Parc de l'Ile Saint-Germain, where you'll find a really nice spot to picnic and spend the day.

The park has three entrances, via boulevard Rodin, chemin des Vignes and chemin des Montquartiers. It's open all year round, every day, from 8am to 7pm. To get there, you can take the RER C to Versailles (Issy stop) or the Transilien (line N to Rambouillet, get off at Meudon and walk 20 minutes). Buses 190 and 123 also serve the garden. Enjoy your visit to the Issy-les-Moulineaux botanical garden!
