The town of Fontenay-aux-Roses invites you to its Fête de l'Environnement, on Saturday June 7, 2025, in the courtyard of the Château Sainte-Barbe, as part of Sustainable Development Week. This free event, open to all, combines awareness-raising, relaxation and local initiatives around contemporary ecological issues.
Practical and educational workshops, association stands, interactive events, a citizens' walk and a conference await you to find out more about biodiversity, composting, urban agriculture, waste reduction, sustainable food, soft mobility and renewable energy, among other topics. The City of Fontenay-aux-Roses apiaries will also be on hand to introduce you to the world of beekeeping and how an apiary works.
The day begins on the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville, rue Boucicaut, with participants gathering for the 2nd edition of the Marche Propre. It continues on the same street, between the Town Hall and the Médiathèque, with a large-scale waste collection operation: a concrete gesture in favor of the environment, accompanied by actions to raise awareness of sorting and recycling.
Parc Sainte-Barbe is being transformed into a greener, more sustainable space. Accompanied by the landscape architect in charge of the project, the public can go behind the scenes of this exemplary worksite.
A convivial moment to be shared over Breton pancakes and galettes from the 'Les Crêpes d'Anna' food truck, with a picnic area for those wishing to bring their own lunch.
Set up in the courtyard of the Château Sainte-Barbe, the village will bring together associations, collectives and partners committed to the ecological transition. On the program: biodiversity, urban beekeeping, waste management, climate, soft mobility, renewable energies and the circular economy. A lively space for information, experimentation and inspiration.
An original workshop to give a second life to advertising banners. Guided by Nicole Morel, participants will make large, practical and durable reusable shopping bags.
How can we make more room for nature in cities? What are the benefits for the climate, the environment and human beings? The France Nature Environnement Hauts-de-Seine federation will present the challenges of urban renaturation through the redevelopment of the Parc Sainte-Barbe, designed to meet the challenges of climate and the environment.
A ceremony to reward Fontenay-aux-Roses retailers who have successfully met the eco-responsible challenges proposed as part of the local challenge.
