Think you know everything about Paris? Here's a concept that will prove you wrong. For lovers of underground discoveries and adventurers looking to get off the beaten track, Paris Face Cachée is an event not to be missed! After an absence of two years, this unusual and cultural event invites you to take a side trip and discover what's going on behind the scenes in Paris and the surrounding region, through a program of original and unusual tours in small groups. These are offered free of charge or at an affordable price, not exceeding twenty euros depending on the experience.
For this 11th edition, the event takes place in February 2025, immersing us in the heart of Parisian secrets. The program generally includes a hundred or so new experiences, highlighting behind-the-scenes jobsand revealing places that are off-limits to the public. In previous editions, for example, we were able to take over an air-raid shelter hidden in the bowels of the Monnaie de Paris, slip into the workshops of the Musée Grévin, or learn the trade of dubbing in a studio on the outskirts of the capital.
Paris Face Cachée isn't confined to the capital: there's also a program of visits in the inner and outer suburbs, in Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, Essonne and Val d'Oise. Theevent has plenty of surprises in store for us, in the form of experiments whose names will remain a mystery right up to the big day.
