Leon de B., a gourmet brunch to try!

Sunday friends, are you looking for a nice, inexpensive brunch? If so, now's the time to discover Léon de B., Léon de Bruxelles's international little brother, located in the Rosa Parks district of Paris, as well as in Lyon.

Located on boulevard MacDonald, opposite square Claude Bernard, Léon de B. is a pleasant place to eat, with a warm atmosphere, a large, bright dining room and an appetizing menu. If you're already familiar with Léon de Bruxelles, Léon de B. is a little fresher, leaving mussels on the menu but venturing outside Belgian-inspired cuisine, with not one but three brunch formulas: the Belgian brunch, the American brunch or the British brunch, with a choice between a mussel casserole, a gourmet Fish & Frites or delicious Burgers (choice of meat or fish).

Once the (difficult) order for the dish has been placed, you can wake up to a breakfast tray consisting of a hot drink, a freshly squeezed fruit juice, half a baguette and mini-viennoiseries; if the tray looks basic, you're like a child with the jars of jam and spreads that adorn each table!

The dishes arrive, and then it's a big surprise: the tray is too beautiful, and the presentation is just right for the (big) kids that we are; fries that spill out of their packaging, tasty fish and chips made at the minute (we hear our table-mate ask for fish and chips without salt in the tempura and the waiter validates the request!), and a burger that smells as good as anything... a delight that can be had in a fish version.

Our bellies satiated and our minds calmed, we take the time to chat over an unobstructed view of a park, before having a rather healthy dessert, a slice of pineapple, unless we fall for a waffle with whipped cream!

It's a great experience for families with children, as the products are simple and appropriate, and gourmets are delighted with the quality/price ratio.
