Restaurant Les Françaises unveils its exquisite brunch

You don’t know where to go for your weekly Sunday’s brunch? Well, no doubt, go to Les Françaises! The restaurant set in Paris 17^th arrondissement has just launched a new brunch offer and we can honestly say our taste buds haven’t forgot it.

There’s no surprise, we already lo-ved the small plates to share and the fantastic cocktails of the place and Les Françaises brunch is just the same as the other: hearty and delicious. In simpler words, we loved it!

On a paper menu, you’re invited to tick what you want. For a soft price (€32) you can have a whole bunch of food likely to delight the gourmets you are.

As for drinks, you can choose between orange juice, grapefruit juice and a weekend special detox juice (the day we came it was watermelon, basil, lemon, so good!) and a hot drink (coffee, tea or hot chocolate). The most festive among you can have their brunch along with a mimosa, a glass of champagne or the cocktail of the day for extra €8.

Just to enjoy our memories of the place, we went for the cocktails à la carte. They have been replaced but are still named after badass women and they still are crazy creative.

Be surprised by the Bernadette Soubiroux (calvados, fresh chili pepper, fresh cilantro, lime, fever tree tonic; €15) or the Niki de Saint-Phalle (pisco, dill syrup, mint and pink berries, lime and cider; €12), our favorite one!

Next to fresh breads, brioche, jams and spread (homemade, please!), Les Française also offers you to choose between a pain au chocolat or a croissant (absolutely vital for any French brunch!) and eggs served to your liking.

On the menu then: delicate scrambled eggs with summer truffle, olive and rosemary muffin with runny egg or THE cold shakshuka with a foodporn-worthy soft-boiled egg you have to try!

Moving on to main courses, you have 5 options available but the five of them are super tasty. Sea side, we have the salmon cooked in herb crust, it’s fantastic, and the cod ceviche with mango and apricot expects one thing: for you to try.

And land side (or rather meat side), the restaurant (trusting the quality of the thoroughly selected products) offers you pastrami and smoked turkey, served with relish some bitter-sweet condiment. So good. Or you can go for the roasted Red Label chicken leg with Provence herbs, it’s fleshy and delicious.

Looking for a vegetarian dish? No problem, you can have the feta, zucchini and sun-dried tomato quiche! And as if it wasn’t enough, each dish is served with arugula and – to choose – mashed truffled potatoes or roasted vegetables.

You thought that was it? Wait until you discover the sweet offer! Because to close this brunch on a sweet note, it includes a dessert. So, will you have the chocolate mousse, the panna cotta with seasonal fruit coulis or the granola with fresh fruits and yogurt? It’s up to you!
