Italian gelato alert on the horizon! Brigat, the bakery-pastry shop we love on Place des Vosges in Paris, is launching its ice cream shop right next door, and we're taking you on a tour of this gourmet spot that combines good ice cream, cookies and good coffee.

Do you love good artisanal ice creams, especially Italian ones? If so, this new ice cream shop is sure to please! Brigat, the baker-patissier on rue du Pas de la Mule in Paris's 3rd arrondissement , is breaking new ground with a new location right next door to his store, a stone's throw from the legendary Place des Vosges.

So it's off to 6 Rue des Vosges to discover this new temple to summer indulgence. On arrival, we discover a small, uncluttered store, with a counter in front of us featuring some fifteen different ice creams, a good Italian coffee machine on the right, a few cookies on display and a counter at our back.

The ice-cream parlour offers a range of ice-cream formats, from simple to large, served in pots or cones, as you wish. Count €4.40 for the small size, €5.40 for the medium and €6.40 for the large. You can also buy a half-liter or a whole liter of ice cream to take away.

Brigat's bakery-pastry shop already offered seasonal ice creams in limited quantities. With the opportunity to obtain this premises, close to their store, the brand decided to expand the range to offer a whole choice of different flavors, all accompanied by good coffee from the Arbre à Café roaster. Expresso, macchiato, café au lait and cappucino await you, with even a gourmet affogato as a bonus for lovers of hot and cold. In winter, the spot won't close, but will continue to offer coffee, perhaps accompanied by panettones, those Italian brioches we love so much.

With an Italian ice cream chef and an ice cream turbine straight from Italy, this is authentic artisanal Italian ice cream. Everything is homemade and turbinated the same day. As for flavours, for its launch, the boutique offers 4 sorbet flavours (blackcurrant, lemon, mandarin-passion, mango). There are also 10 crèmes glacés, ranging from classics like vanilla and pistachio to more original flavors like millefeuille ice cream with pieces of caramelized puff pastry, tiramisu with real pieces of coffee-soaked cookie, café-praliné hazelnut ice cream, which is already proving popular with pastry chefs, and coco-stracciatella ice cream.

These ice creams contain no preservatives, only natural stabilizers, and only 25% sugar in the sorbets, where the fruit takes pride of place, and 17% in the ice creams. The taste of real pistachio with real pistachio pieces, the millefeuille that gives the impression of eating a pastry, and the chocolate ice cream made with chocolate from Nicolas Berger, change everything. The coconut ice cream, with its chocolate stracciatella that crumbles in the mouth, is a real delight. In short, it's fresh, melt-in-your-mouth gourmet goodness that leaves you wanting more.

Otherwise, it's open from Wednesday to Friday from 12:00 to 22:00 and on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 23:00. It's the ideal spot to pick up Brigat before settling down to enjoy it on the Place des Vosges.
