Secret, gourmet, colorful, arty and surprising! Le Confidentiel, the new restaurant hidden away in Paris's we are_, is all these things. Don't believe us? Come and discover this new address, you won't regret it!

Ever heard ofWe are_? An original concept created in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, this space is dedicated to players in the creative industries. At we are_, members meet to discuss and exchange ideas, and since 2020, talent and artists have been flocking here every day (Olivia Ruiz, Bénabar, Ana Girardot, Patrice Leconte, Terre Noire... ) in front of delighted members. Already boasting several nooks and crannies, as well as a magnificent garden, we are_ is innovating by opening a new space, this time gourmet, accessible to members and non-members alike.

Located in the basement and more precisely in the sumptuous vaulted cellars of this 18th-century mansion, this new address is an enchanted, gourmet interlude that seduces at first sight and first bite!

In addition to its totally unique setting (once home to the great Musée du Parfum), Le Confidentiel also seduces us with its delicate, fresh, seasonal cuisine based on local produce from the terroir. All cooked with love and passion by chef Arthur Jallerat. His name will certainly ring a bell, as he has worked in a number of Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris, including George V and Ambroisie. What's on the menu? Three starters, three main courses and four desserts. A simple but effective menu, regularly renewed, each featuring a fish, meat or vegetarian dish.

We start with a delicious velouté of pumpkin, Iberian ham and bread croutons, followed by a tasty, ultra-melting ceviche of sea bass (from Vendée), accompanied by crunchy vegetables and tangy apple pieces. A successful blend for an explosion on the palate!

For the main course, a memorable (not to say to die for) fregula risotto, generously accompanied by shellfish and a creamy emulsion. A real favorite!

Opposite, we also fall for the lamb shoulder confit with spices, wrapped in a cabbage leaf and delicately placed on extra-fine semolina and dried fruit.

For dessert, we love Thierry Marx's Tarte Tropézienne, as well as the refreshing fruit salad.

To accompany these wonderful dishes, Le Confidentiel boasts a fine wine list with over 100 references of grands crus and exclusives, all ordered by Fabrice Jeantet.

Please note that Le Confidentiel is a discreet place. As such, it is only open in the evenings to some 40 privileged guests. Would you like to be one of them? Don't delay in making your reservation!
