It's Andy who's at the counter, wearing his de rigueur checkered shirt (Canadian dress code). "It's the best poutine in Paris", he says, and the customers at the table wouldn't disagree. Among the classics, there is the traditional poutine "the classic", with its thick fries, gravy and cheese curds, or the unavoidable"smoked bacon" with smoked bacon caramelized with barn syrup, roasted onions and chives. For vegetarian options, no veal stock, but a lightly spiced vegetable sauce, shitake, eggs marinated in soy sauce and cebettes for a veggie option that is just as tasty.

The Moose is best described by its regulars, who come to each major sporting event to watch the matches on one of the bar's 14 televisions and celebrate the goals with a round of shots, as they did for the France-Argentina final a few weeks ago. On the menu, one watchword: authenticity. In the kitchen, we keep it simple but efficient, fast and always delicious. We come to taste the traditional North American home-made cuisine during our lunch break, to try the generous burgers with friends, or to have a look at the poutine menu.

With chorizo, chicken, pulled pork, barbecue... It's the restaurant's specialty, you have more than ten to choose from and you should count between 12.5 € and 17 €. Otherwise, the kitchen also serves finger food, to pick between two halves and hot dishes, like the curry of the chef, the flank steak angus ... Also on the menu, a large choice of beer - third half obliges - with IPAs, ambers, blondes, browns... that the waiter advises with great pleasure.

If you still have room for dessert, no doubt the menu will be able to offer you gourmet options: a warm pecan pie with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream, a brownie like in the US, and other home-made sweets. The Moose is really the bar/restaurant where we recommend you to run to follow the Superbowl games (which start very soon) with a pint accompanied by one of the best poutines in Paris.
