Cali Mia, sunny Latin-American restaurant to eat with your feet buried in the sand

Whatever the season, restaurant Cali Mia is the perfect place to feel like on a vacation by the sea! Straw hut, sand beneath your feet, warm and colorful atmosphere, sunny mocktails and spicy food are to be enjoyed for an exotic night (or lunch)! Close to metro Goncourt in the 10^th arrondissement, come and try Latin-American specialties such as quesadillas, nachos, king shrimps, fried fajitas and coconut milk!

Let us warn you that after eating so well, you are so-well seated on the hanging chairs that you can barely leave the table and go home! After choosing your fixed seat or swing, discover the list of mocktails and softs, as here everything is alcohol-free, so you can enjoy the flavors 100%. We recommend the piña colada, very sweet and light with coconut milk, useful if you bite into the chilis served next! Without forgetting mojito, a sure bet.

If you are on a tighter budget or small stomachs, you can go for the tex-mex menu with beef, chicken or veggie quesadillas, crunchy guacamole nachos, cheesy bomb or fried shrimps between €6.90 and €8.90. As for us, we tried a bit of everything and highly recommend the chicken and cheddar meatballs both crunchy and creamy. They were beautifully plated and served with a side of vegetables if you want to stay healthy.

As for mains, rates are higher, but they are hearty and flavorsome. You can choose between king shrimps, salmon, beef or marinated chicken, as well as salads with Latin twists! The food takes you on a journey from Mexico to Jamaica and the West French Indies! If you are more sensitive, the food is slightly spicy, but a great journey for the taste buds. And if you are bold enough, go for the green chili at your own risk! We had the very hearty fried fajita with fries, cheddar, chili peppers, like a spicy poutine!

If you have a sweet-tooth, get some cheesecake, cookies, French toast or even mango panna cotta to wrap up your meal. Note Cali Mia also serves a brunch, on Sundays, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.! The place being rather small, make sure you make a reservation ahead of time to be sure you will have a table!
