Do you love dancing, Andalusian culture and traditional Spanish music? Then why not head off to the Bal du Rosa, where you can dance the night away and feel like you're at the Seville fair.

Twirling skirts, fake flowers in your hair and flat-brimmed hats: welcome to the Bal du Rosa, the meeting place for Sevillana dancers and enthusiasts, every last Wednesday of the month. When's the next ball? It's this Wednesday, March 27, 2024, starting at 7:30pm at the Rosa Bonheur sur Seine.

Sevillanas are the traditional dances learned in Spain, which are danced in couples, in féria, from the first notes of guitar and vocals of the singers, most often installed on their cajón, a musical box to give the rhythm. In four stages, each song tells the story of the couple's meeting, confrontation, quarrel and love.

Since the opening of Rosa Bonheur sur Seine, the event has been a regular fixture, and in collaboration with the Sevillana2000 association, it's always a great opportunity to meet up with dancers from all over the Paris region for a dance.

For one evening, Andalusia invites itself to Paris: come live, dance and enjoy this immersion directly at Rosa Bonheur sur Seine! What's more, the evening is free and admission is open to all (subject to availability). If you can't make it this Wednesday, there are always the next dates you can attend!
