Parisian nights are shaped by recurring events we eagerly look forward to. From nostalgic parties and carnival-style electronic music festivals to ballroom, there’s no shortage of ways to keep the party going until the early hours. Street culture also has its own major night: Classics Only.
This event promises rap, hip-hop and RnB, and aims to put us back in touch with the classics. From Diam's to Aya Nakamura, from Usher to 50 Cent, the essential artists of yesterday and today take turns bringing fans and casual listeners together to the sounds we grew up with, as well as today’s hits.
Sometimes, Classics Only parties even welcome guest stars for surprise live performances. French rap icons such as RimK, Joey Starr, Passi and Sniper have appeared at past editions. Every so often, special editions are also held in unusual venues.
The next event is on May 8, 2026, and this time the party takes over Yoyo at the Palais de Tokyo. It will be a special edition, marking the concept’s 11th anniversary. To celebrate, we’re promised an XXL party that will run until the early hours, with several DJs set to get the crowd going with 2000s rap and R&B, a surprise live performance by a French rap legend, and the traditional karaoke.
