The playground? Mia Mao, the new electronic hotspot in eastern Paris, opened in January 2025. Nestled in the heart of the party district of La Villette, the venue was conceived as a true sanctuary for underground electronic music.

Here, no phones raised: the policy "no photo, no video" asks for total surrender. In the thick darkness, only the bespoke sound system—devastatingly precise—guides the bodies. Built for immersion, Mia Mao spotlights a radical, uncompromising vision of clubbing. A raw, direct spirit that recalls Berlin’s glory days.

Since January 2025, Mia Mao has set up shop in a former warehouse in La Villette, continuing its mission: to offer a raw, immersive space where the music comes first, paired with a strict no-photos policy and a one-of-a-kind sound system.
