Yule log 2019 by Nicolas Paciello for Fouquet’s Paris

To celebrate Fouquet’s 120th anniversary, the house new pastry chef, Nicolas Paciello, came up with a Louis Fouquet’s yule log, paying very beautiful tribute to the founder of the legendary Parisian brasserie.

La Bûche de Noël de Louis Fouquet”: This is the latest creation of Fouquet’s Paris for the Holidays. And we can say this yule log is exceptional since it celebrates the Fouquet’s 120th anniversary.

On the occasion, Nicolas Paciello (the house’s new pastry chef) teamed up with historian Marion GodfroyTayart de Borms to create this yule log in tribute to the founder of the famous Parisian brasserie, inviting gourmands to travel to the heart of its identity.

But, what does this Louis Fouquet’s yule log has in store? Well, this creation unveils Malmaison cake with roasted almonds, browned butter and citrus zests, as well as cream Madame and bergamot insert.

In addition to propose mouthwatering flavors, this yule log has a rather bold look with this very high piece standing on a crunchy chocolate base. To top it all, this creation is covered with a bright red marzipan veil to remind us of the famous flap you can see on the Champs-Elysées.
